This Olympic Torch bearer was orphaned in the recent earthquake in Sichuan Province and is now residing with other orphaned children in Lijiang School. She is surrounded by friends and Madame Gu Xiulian, President of the China Children's and Teenager's Fund and Dr. Ling Feng who heads the school. Both of these champions for the children are partnered with The Grace Children's Foundation through programs of Medical, Education and Humanitarian Aid. at The Grace Children's Foundation (TGCF) is to deliver education and vocational programs, medical/surgical care and humanitarian aid for orphaned and disadvantaged children in China.
Our Focus
is on the children who will face the challenge of entering society in China in their early teens, many without basic life skills and vocations, all without the crucial anchor of family.
Our Goal
is for these older and special needs children to elevate themselves beyond survival to a place where they can flourish and participate in their society with purpose and dignity.

is the creation of a model for systematic change that can be replicated for other children in need around the world.

The Grace Children's Foundation is a New York-based 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to improve the lives of orphaned and disadvantaged children in China through directed medical, education and humanitarian aid programs in cooperation with the Chinese officials responsible for their care.
